The Message Is Hope!

"In this world, you would have troubles but take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Jesus didn’t promise us that we wouldn’t have troubles. What He did say is this - that He’s going to be with us through it all. ("I am with you always even to the end of the age." Matt 28:20).

The issue sometimes is that we confuse hope for comfort. We are always trying to avoid the risk of disappointment and tears. We assume that every single thing we do must give us the result we want in the immediate & if it looks like it won’t, then we back off permanently. We refrain from whatever might affect the apparent calm of a mediocre system.

Truly, how far one is from obtaining something if the very wish to possess it has been lost, through fear of the demands involved in achieving it.
We must know this - that sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

The certainty we derive from knowing we are children of God is all the hope we need because our God is good and His mercy is forever.

I know it’s very hard keeping up with the inner faith during the most critical times, but, those who never leave hope, actually make it till the end.
The stubborn hope that - if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come.

In all of this, we must remember that the world needs less heat and more light. It needs less of the heat of anger, revenge, retaliation, and more of the light of ideas, faith, courage, aspiration, joy, love, and hope.

What gives us the most hope every day is God’s grace; knowing that His grace is going to give us the strength we need, to get through whatever we face. We have to latch on to the certainty of God’s promises. Our God never flops!

Our hope is living and active because of and through Jesus Christ!
Hope never disappoints. Don’t lose hope. God is still with us. Always has been, always will be.
